RESPONSIBILITIES

+ Perform field testing of construction materials (soils, concrete, and steel); + Communicate with project managers and sub-contractors regarding inspection, observation, and testing results; + Transportation of sample materials for laboratory analysis; + Preparation of field data and technical reports; and + Travel to various construction sites to perform inspections.

QUALIFICATIONS

+ 1 year experience in field construction inspection and testing; experienced with concrete testing, asphalt testing, and soil testing. + Associates Degree + Preferred certifications include: + ACI Field Technician I (ACI 1) + Nuclear Density Gauge certification + ICC Soils + ICC Concrete Placement + ICC Reinforced Concrete + ICC Structural Masonry + ICC Structural Steel & Bolting + New York State HMA (hot mix asphalt) certification a plus + Previous experience in a soils or materials laboratory is a plus System One, and its subsidiaries including Joulé and Mountain Ltd., are leaders in delivering outsourced services and workforce solutions across North America.
