Overview Join our dedicated team as a Temporary HUD Certified HQS (Housing Quality Standards) Inspector, where your expertise will ensure safe, compliant, and quality housing for residents participating in federal housing programs. In this vital role, you will conduct thorough inspections of residential units to verify they meet HUD standards, helping to promote safe living environments and uphold program integrity. Your attention to detail will directly impact the well-being of residents and the success of our housing initiatives. Duties Perform comprehensive inspections of residential properties to assess compliance with HUD HQS guidelines, including structural integrity, safety features, and overall habitability Identify deficiencies or hazards during inspections and document findings accurately through detailed reports and data collection Experience Familiarity with contracts management and data collection methods for quality assurance purposes Prior experience with HUD or other federal housing programs is a plus but not required; must hold valid HUD HQS certification Ability to work independently in diverse environments while maintaining high attention to detail.
