ABOUT THRASHER
The Thrasher Group is a full-service architecture, engineering, and field services consulting firm with a proven track record of project success across the Mid-Atlantic region. Our multidisciplinary team delivers professional services to clients in five core markets: architecture, land development, water resources, transportation, and energy.
ROLE OVERVIEW
We are looking for a Construction Inspector to support water-related projects across West Virginia, Southeast Ohio, and Southwest Pennsylvania. In this role, you will be a key player in ensuring successful project implementation, with responsibilities spanning construction oversight, documentation, quality assurance, and stakeholder communication.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
Participate in on-site activities, collaborating with residents, property owners, and contractors Monitor construction progress, adherence to plans, and compliance with specifications Maintain detailed records of project quantities, daily reports, and changes Keep accurate redline and as-built drawings to document project modifications Monitor work to identify and prevent construction defects Ensure projects meet quality standards and specifications Facilitate effective communication between project stakeholders, including owners, engineers, and contractors Coordinate information flow to keep all parties informed throughout the project Travel to project sites as needed, including extended stays away from home during the week
WHAT YOU'LL BRING
Experience:
3-5 years of relevant construction inspection experience
Certifications:
OSHA 10, CPR, and first aid certifications highly desirable Water treatment: Experience as a treatment plant operator with Class 3 or higher water treatment certification advantageous
