Job Description

Are you looking for a hands-on career with opportunities to grow in the construction and engineering industry? We are seeking motivated Field Technicians to join a well-established company that provides construction materials testing, building inspections, and engineering support services for commercial, residential, and infrastructure projects. This is an excellent opportunity to work on a variety of job sites while building a long-term career with a company that invests in its employees. What You'll Do Perform field and laboratory testing on construction materials such as soil and concrete. Conduct site observations and inspections to verify quality and compliance. Read and interpret construction drawings, blueprints, and project specifications. Collect, record, and maintain accurate testing data and documentation. Assist in evaluating test results and preparing reports. Ensure all testing procedures meet industry standards and safety requirements. Travel to local job sites to complete testing and inspection assignments (approximately 25% local travel). Maintain testing equipment and keep accurate field records. Communicate findings with supervisors and project teams. Complete additional duties as assigned. Qualifications Valid driver's license with a clean driving record. Ability to pass a background check and drug screening. Comfortable working outdoors in all weather conditions. Ability to climb and work at varying heights when needed. Strong attention to detail and organizational skills. Excellent communication and problem-solving abilities. Preferred Certifications Candidates with one or more of the following certifications are strongly encouraged to apply: ACI Certification Nuclear Gauge Certification Residential Building Inspector (B1) Commercial Building Inspector (B2) ICC Residential Certification (ICCRC) ICC Commercial Certification (ICCSO) ICC Fire Protection Certification (ICCFP) ICC Structural Masonry Certification (ICCSM) What We Offer Competitive pay based on experience and certifications.
