Construction Inspector Job Description Join our team as a Construction Inspector where you will play a vital role in ensuring the quality and integrity of construction projects. Responsibilities Conduct construction inspections and materials testing on various job sites within the Greater Pittsburgh area. Perform field construction, project engineering, concrete testing, quality control inspections, and asphalt testing. Travel to job sites and ensure compliance with project specifications and regulations. Provide detailed reports on inspection findings and work closely with project teams to address any issues. Essential Skills At least 1 year of experience in construction inspection and materials testing. ACI Certification is mandatory. Valid driver's license and ability to pass an MVR check. Additional Skills & Qualifications High school diploma or GED is required. ACI or Necept certification is preferred. Work Environment The role involves being on job sites 90% of the time, with the remaining 10% spent in the lab and office. You will support PWSA projects and must be comfortable with a hands-on work environment. Employees receive mileage reimbursement at a rate of 80 cents per mile. Job Type & Location This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Bridgeville, PA. Pay and Benefits The pay range for this position is $18.00 - $30.00/hr.
