Construction Inspector Job Description Join a dynamic engineering firm as a Construction Inspector, where you will be responsible for inspecting construction sites and materials. Responsibilities Conduct construction inspections and materials testing on various job sites within the Greater Pittsburgh area. Perform quality control inspections, including concrete and asphalt testing, to ensure compliance with industry standards. Support PennDOT projects through field construction and project engineering tasks. Maintain accurate records and prepare detailed reports of inspection findings. Essential Skills Minimum of 1 year of construction inspection or materials testing experience. ACI Certification required. Valid driver's license with the ability to pass an MVR check. Additional Skills & Qualifications Diploma or GED is required. Experience with NECEPT is advantageous. Skills in field construction, project engineering, and quality control are preferred. Work Environment This role requires being on job sites 90% of the time, with the remaining 10% spent in the lab and office. The position supports PennDOT projects and offers a mileage reimbursement of 80 cents per mile for driving.
