Job Description

Join Our Team as a Code Enforcement Officer at ARRO Consulting! This position is responsible for performing property inspections, investigating complaints, enforcing municipal codes and ordinances, and completing the administrative work necessary to support code enforcement activities. The Code Enforcement Officer works closely with residents, contractors, and municipal officials while providing professional, customer-focused service. Essential Job Responsibilities Perform property inspections to ensure compliance with municipal codes and ordinances. Investigate complaints and document findings. Prepare inspection reports, notices of violation, permits, correspondence, and other administrative documentation. Maintain accurate records, case files, and inspection logs. Educate property owners and contractors on code requirements. Coordinate with municipal officials and internal staff. Respond to public inquiries and provide excellent customer service. Travel throughout assigned municipalities to perform inspections. Perform other duties as assigned. Required Skills/Knowledge High school diploma or equivalent required. No certifications required. Experience in construction, inspections, property maintenance, municipal government, or customer service is preferred. Strong communication, organization, and problem-solving skills. Proficiency in Microsoft Office. Valid driver's license with a satisfactory driving record. Physical Requirements - Work Environment Combination of office and field work. Frequent walking, standing, and outdoor inspections in varying weather conditions. Ability to lift up to 25 pounds occasionally. Regular computer use for documentation and reporting. Occasional evening meetings may be required. Daily Work Location/Hours The employee will report to the Orwigsburg, Pennsylvania office on a regular basis. This position includes both office and field work, with limited hybrid work available after successful onboarding and supervisor approval.
