Join the NV Roofing Team NV Roofing is seeking a motivated, detail-oriented Commercial Roof Inspector to perform professional inspections of commercial and residential roofing systems. If you have extensive roofing knowledge, enjoy working independently, and take pride in producing high-quality inspection reports, we'd like to hear from you. Position Summary The Roof Inspector will perform comprehensive inspections of low-slope and steep-slope roofing systems, evaluate roof conditions, identify deficiencies, document findings, and provide clients with accurate, professional reports. This position requires both field work and electronic report preparation. Primary Responsibilities Perform inspections of commercial and residential roofing systems. Identify all major roof system types, membranes, insulation, flashings, drainage components, and accessories. Evaluate roof conditions and identify deficiencies, damage, deterioration, and maintenance needs. Conduct preventative maintenance inspections and asset management assessments. Photograph and document inspection findings using tablets and digital reporting software. Prepare clear, accurate, and professional inspection reports. Communicate findings effectively with project managers and clients. Follow all company safety policies and OSHA requirements while working on roofs. Required Qualifications Strong knowledge of low-slope and steep-slope roofing systems. Ability to identify roofing membranes, insulation types, flashings, and roof components. Understanding of roof maintenance practices and inspection procedures. Experience documenting deficiencies and preparing detailed inspection reports. Computer literate and comfortable using tablets, Microsoft Office, and inspection software. Ability to work independently with minimal supervision. Comfortable climbing ladders and walking roofs safely. Commitment to following OSHA and company safety protocols. Strong attention to detail and organizational skills. Excellent written and verbal communication skills. Valid driver's license with a clean driving record. Preferred Qualifications Roofing, construction, or building envelope experience. Experience performing commercial roof inspections. OSHA 10 Physical Requirements Ability to climb ladders and access roofs safely. Ability to walk roofs for extended periods. Lift up to 50 pounds. Work outdoors in varying weather conditions. Ability to bend, kneel, crouch, and stand for extended periods. Why Join NV Roofing?
