Professional Inspectors Wanted

Professional Inspector Blue Mesa Homes is looking for a driven, results-oriented Professional Inspector. This is an opportunity for someone who wants more than just a client—you'll play a key role in shaping our brand.

What You'll Do:

On-site inspections : Assess the quality of work, materials, and compliance with plans and specifications jobs. Non-conformance reporting : Identify deviations, hazards, or defects and document them in accordance with industry standards jobs. Review and approval : Examine and approve shop drawings, submittals, and quality control plans jobs. Regulatory compliance : Ensure adherence to local, state, and federal construction regulations, OSHA safety standards, and zoning requirements U.S. Bureau of Labor Statistics Record keeping : Maintain accurate inspection logs, test results, and compliance records

Coordination :

Work with project managers, contractors, and other stakeholders to resolve issues and ensure timely completion Specialized inspections : May include utility coordination, pavement, sewer, building, or mechanical/electrical systems

What We're Looking For:

Must be approved by TREC Must obtain an ICC-RCI Certificate Ability to work independently and take full ownership of outcomes Entrepreneurial mindset—we want someone building their own business

Position Details:

Responsible for ensuring construction meets codes, regulations, safety standards and contract specifications On-site inspections: Assess the quality of work, materials, and compliance with plans and specifications Compensation negotiable based on experience, scope, and results

Location:

must be comfortable with working on construction sites as well as remote work
