Job Description

Johnson Service Group (JSG) is a nationally recognized professional staffing firm, and we are recruiting an experienced, Work Planner. This direct-hire role will support concrete coating construction efforts at the Savannah River Construction Site in Jackson, SC.
Position Summary:
The Savannah River Site is a key U.S. Department of Energy industrial complex. They are repurposing the former Mixed Oxide (MOX) Fuel Fabrication Facility into the Savannah River Plutonium Processing Facility (SRPPF). There is currently no radioactive material onsite.
Citizen Status:
Due to the requirements of federal government contracts, U.S. citizenship is required.
Duration:
The project is expected to run at a minimum of three (3) years.
Work Schedule:
On-site five 10-hour days per week. Monday through Friday, 6:30 am - 4:30 pm
Compensation:
$55.00/hour for the first 40 hours/week. Time and a half over 40 hours/week.
Per Diem:
$120.00 dollars per day per diem, 7 days/week (if you live at least 50 miles from the job location) Full company Benefits Two (2) weeks paid vacation Eight (8)
Paid Holidays Responsibilities:
Work with the Quality Management Team to write, build, and assemble working procedures in coordination with existing Quality Inspection documents. Coordinate working procedures along with Quality Inspection documents, SDS sheets and PDS sheets. All documents will be built from the site specifications and will be required to align with client's NQA1 Quality Program. Work in conjunction with the primary site engineering group. Education /
Experience:
Bachelors Degree in Engineering or similar field is preferred. 5+ years of project worksite planning experience in heavy construction (nuclear experience preferred). Previous work planning experience with concrete coating applications is required. Some procedure writing experience preferred. Demonstrated knowledge of AISC and ACI codes is preferred. Strong written and oral communication skills. Able to deliver quality and accurate work within established deadlines.
Preferred Qualifications:
Prior involvement in Non-Conformance Report (NCR) classification and technical disposition for out-of-spec concrete conditions. Familiarity with nuclear power plant design and construction.
