Job Description Atlas is seeking a CMT Field Technician 1 to join our Construction Materials Testing team in Murfreesboro, Tennessee. In this role, you will perform field testing, inspection, and sampling activities that help ensure construction projects meet quality and safety standards. This is a great opportunity for someone who enjoys hands-on work, being outdoors, and contributing directly to projects that strengthen local communities. Core Responsibilities Perform field testing of concrete, soils, and other construction materials in accordance with project requirements. Conduct field inspections and collect samples from active construction sites. Accurately document test results and complete field reports. Follow established safety procedures while working around construction activities and equipment. Communicate effectively with project teams, supervisors, and clients regarding testing activities and results. Travel to project sites throughout the region as needed You'll thrive here if you have High school diploma or GED. Previous construction or field experience preferred. Strong communication and organizational skills. Ability to read maps, follow directions, and interpret construction or engineering plans. Basic computer skills, including Microsoft Office and Excel. Ability to work outdoors in varying weather conditions and stand or walk for extended periods. Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and safely handle testing equipment and samples. Valid driver's license and ability to meet company driving, background, and drug-screen requirements. Willingness to travel regularly to project locations.
