Job Description

Overview Cummings Electrical is hiring a Quality Inspector for our Integrated Manufacturing facility in Arlington, TX. Cummings Electrical, one of the leading providers of electrical contracting services in DFW, is currently seeking an experienced Quality Inspector who is responsible for ensuring that the Electrical Integration team installs products that meet or exceed expected standard of quality. Conducts Quality Inspections and hands on tasks related to Quality functions. Promoting high quality standards for all products being integrated/installed. Cummings Electrical is expanding our Integrated Manufacturing team. We design and build custom, integrated, modular systems such as e-houses, electrical skids, HAC's and UL 508A panels for a wide range of projects, including data centers, healthcare facilities, industrial plants, and more. Responsibilities Submission of Non-Conformance Reports to Supervisors Preparation of daily/weekly progress reports Hands on tool use for Quality Inspections Reviewing Quality Management System and identifying any issues Keeping emphasis on the product and services being the highest standard of Quality achievable Provide guidance, support and motivation to Quality Technicians and Electrical Integration Team to ensure a high level of performance Oversee Quality Inspections by Technicians Verify the correct product is being used during the installation process Initiate Quality Standards from contractor document submittals, and specifications Maintain and improve existing standards and guidelines, implementing industry and company best practices Ensure the Quality of Product does not waver, regardless of schedule or cost impact Maintain accurate and detailed records of quality control activities periodically to ensure proper activity documentation Interact closely with internal teams to ensure that project needs and objectives are met, while maintaining the highest standard of work possible Collaborate with Integration Supervision, Electrical and Quality Technicians to ensure that electrical installations meet or exceed customer specifications and expectations Filling out task related documentation Conducting inspections and tests on products or services at various stages of the production or service delivery process Initiate correspondence regarding deficient product or installation, including Non-Conformance Reports and related documents and pictures Ensuring company assigned tool and assets are in good condition Additional duties as required
Work Schedule:
Monday-Friday:
6:00 AM - 2:30 PM (subject to business needs) Occasional Saturdays as required During active projects, hours may shift to 6:00 AM - 4:30 PM, with some Saturdays Qualifications High School Diploma 3+ Years Licensed Electrical Apprentice Fundamental Knowledge of NEC (National Electrical Code) and Electrical Installations Fundamental comprehension of Microsoft Office applications Previous manufacturing experience preferred Critical thinking and problem-solving skills Ability to safely lift, carry, push, and/or pull up to 50 pounds on a regular basis, with or without reasonable accommodation Ability to stand and/or walk for extended periods of time during scheduled shifts Ability to perform physical activities such as bending, kneeling, crouching, twisting, reaching, and climbing as required by job duties How we support you: Our environment allows you to take pride in your work, create meaningful connections, and acquire growth-based development skills.
