Per Diem:
$178/day Responsibilities
  • Provide direct field supervision and oversight of day-to-day electrical activities for the BESS project.
  • Coordinate daily contractor activities, verify electrical completion, conduct field inspections, and ensure quality surveillance.
  • Oversee safety protocols and support site activities to ensure compliance with project standards.
  • Serve as the primary field presence to monitor contractor performance, verify work quality, and facilitate resolution of field issues.
  • Ensure construction activities are completed in accordance with project requirements and company standards.
  • Support a successful transition to operations through daily oversight, contractor coordination, and verification of corrective actions. Requirements
  • Electrical experience with 7-10 years, including low and medium voltage electrical work.
  • Experience as an electrical inspector or in related electrical discipline roles.
  • Knowledge of civil design, construction support, and renewable energy projects such as wind, solar, and BESS.
  • Familiarity with the NEXTracker system is highly beneficial.
  • Strong safety awareness and the ability to promote a safety-first culture; OSHA 30 certification preferred but not required.
  • Bachelor's degree in electrical engineering is highly preferred; equivalent experience will be considered.
  • Excellent communication skills and a highly collaborative attitude.
  • Previous EPC experience from companies like Mortenson, Blattner, or owners' reps such as National Grid, Nexterra, Duke Energy is a plus.
  • Employment gaps greater than 1 year may be considered a red flag.
