In this pivotal role, you will serve as a technical expert and trainer, ensuring construction sites adhere to all safety, quality, and regulatory standards. Your expertise will help maintain the integrity of construction inspections, promote compliance with building codes, and support the successful delivery of civil infrastructure projects. This position offers an exciting opportunity to influence quality standards and foster professional growth within a collaborative environment. Responsibilities Conduct comprehensive inspections of construction sites to verify adherence to plans, specifications, building codes, and safety regulations Train and mentor inspectors on best practices for quality control, construction regulations, and technical analysis methods Review construction plans, schematics, blueprints, and technical drawings to ensure proper implementation on-site Perform detailed data collection during site visits, including documenting construction progress and identifying potential issues Analyze construction documents and specifications to ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and project standards Oversee public works construction inspections related to pipelines, infrastructure components, and civil engineering projects Collaborate with project managers, contractors, and regulatory agencies to resolve issues related to building code compliance and quality inspections Qualifications Proven experience in construction site inspections with a focus on civil infrastructure or public works projects Strong knowledge of construction regulations, building codes, safety standards, and quality control procedures Proficiency in interpreting technical drawings, schematics, blueprints, and construction plans Familiarity with Microsoft Office tools for documentation and reporting purposes Excellent analysis skills for assessing construction quality and compliance issues Construction management or related certification is preferred but not required Ability to work effectively on-site in various weather conditions while maintaining attention to detail Join us as a Tyler and Inspector Trainer to make a meaningful impact on community infrastructure projects!
