We take pride in executing quality work and we are seeking a detail-oriented QA/QC Inspector to support field quality inspections and ensure all work meets project specifications and code requirements. Position Summary The QA/QC Inspector is responsible for performing field inspections, verifying installations, and documenting compliance with project standards. This role works closely with field teams and QA/QC leadership to ensure quality is built into every phase of construction. Key Responsibilities Perform daily field inspections of electrical installations (conduit, cable tray, terminations, equipment, etc.) Verify work complies with drawings, specifications, NEC code, and project standards Identify and document deficiencies and non-conforming work Support punch list creation, tracking, and closeout Complete and maintain inspection reports, checklists, and QA/QC documentation Coordinate with Foremen and Superintendents to resolve issues in a timely manner Assist with pre-functional inspections and testing readiness Ensure proper labeling, tagging, and installation standards are followed Participate in quality walks and site audits Support final turnover documentation and project closeout Qualifications 1-3+ years of experience in electrical construction or QA/QC inspection Working knowledge of electrical systems and NEC requirements Ability to read and interpret construction drawings and specifications Strong attention to detail and organizational skills Effective communication and ability to work with field teams Basic proficiency in Microsoft Office Preferred Qualifications Experience in data center or mission-critical projects OSHA 10 or 30 certification Familiarity with QA/QC processes, inspection checklists, and reporting tools Exposure to commissioning or turnover processes What We Offer Competitive pay based on experience Per Diem for eligible traveling employees Opportunities to grow into QA/QC Coordinator or QA/QC Manager roles Work on high-profile, large-scale projects in a fast-growing sector Why Vanguard?
