In this energetic role, you will conduct thorough inspections of fire protection systems, construction sites, and building safety measures. Your expertise will help prevent fire hazards, promote system integrity, and support clients in maintaining compliant and secure environments. This position offers an exciting opportunity to combine technical skills with proactive problem-solving to make a meaningful impact on community safety. Duties Perform detailed inspections of fire sprinkler systems, alarm systems, and other fire protection equipment across commercial sites. Assess construction projects for compliance with fire safety codes and standards, providing clear guidance for corrective actions. Evaluate the design and installation of fire alarm and security systems, ensuring optimal functionality and adherence to regulations. Collaborate with contractors, builders, and clients to review system designs and recommend improvements for fire safety enhancements. Conduct system testing, troubleshooting, and maintenance checks to verify operational readiness of fire alarm and sprinkler systems. Document inspection findings meticulously, prepare comprehensive reports, and track compliance status for each site inspected. Provide expert advice on fire safety best practices, system upgrades, and sales opportunities related to alarm systems or fire protection equipment. Qualifications Current NICET II and/or RME-I Proven experience in construction inspection, fire sprinkler fitting, or related field within commercial environments. Strong knowledge of fire alarm systems, security protocols, and system design principles. Familiarity with building codes, safety regulations, and standards governing fire protection in commercial settings. Excellent communication skills to clearly explain technical requirements and inspection results to diverse stakeholders. Ability to interpret technical drawings, schematics, and system specifications accurately. A proactive attitude with keen attention to detail and a commitment to safety excellence.
