ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
Field inspection of and sampling of concrete, aggregates, and soils for foundations and/or access roadways for wind and solar projects to assure compliance with plans and specifications. Candidate will be primarily performing quality assurance tasks associated with construction of renewable energy projects throughout the United States. Responsibilities will also include, but not be limited to, performing calculations, data reduction of test results, and observing and documenting field activities. Extensive travel (95-100%) throughout the United States will be required. Must be willing to travel for the duration of the assignment. Lodging and meal per diems will be provided. This position is non-exempt (overtime pay beyond 40 hours per week). Position may require extended and/or irregular hours to meet our clients' needs.
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS
(KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, AND
ABILITIES
) Candidate must have a valid driver's license with a clean driving record. Must be willing to travel to construction sites in remote locations throughout the country. Personal vehicle for use on construction sites (pickup truck or SUV) that meets the company's requirement is preferred. A company truck can be provided if deemed necessary.
