Job Description

Electrical Quality Control Inspector | Clearfield, UT Nexeo Staffing is seeking an experienced Electrical QA/QC Inspector for a leading industrial manufacturing facility in Clearfield, Utah. This role is responsible for inspecting, testing, and verifying electrical systems, control panels, wiring, and switchgear to ensure compliance with NEC, UL, NFPA, and customer specifications. The ideal candidate has strong experience in industrial electrical systems, quality control, and code compliance, with a high level of attention to detail and commitment to safety. Responsibilities Inspect electrical systems, including wiring, conduit, terminations, control panels, and switchgear Perform electrical testing such as continuity, insulation resistance, loop checks, and grounding verification Ensure compliance with
NEC, NFPA
70E, UL, IEEE, and applicable codes Review and verify torque specifications using calibrated tools Interpret electrical schematics, one-line diagrams, and wiring diagrams Complete inspection reports, punch lists, and quality documentation Assist with as-built documentation and Bill of Materials (BOM) verification Support root cause analysis and corrective action efforts Enforce safety standards, including PPE, lockout/tagout, and arc flash protocols Collaborate with engineering and production teams to resolve quality issues Qualifications Minimum 5 years of experience in electrical fabrication, installation, or inspection Strong knowledge of NEC, UL, NFPA, and IEEE standards Experience with switchgear, VFDs, PLCs, and industrial control systems Proficient with multimeters, megohmmeters, and electrical testing equipment Ability to read and interpret electrical schematics and drawings High school diploma or GED required Associate degree in Electrical Engineering or related field preferred Ability to pass a background check and drug screen Spanish bilingual is a plus Pay $36.00 - $36.00 per hour Schedule Full Time | 7am to 5:30pm | Monday-Thursday Full Time | 7am to 12:00pm | Saturday Nexeo Benefits Medical, Dental, Vision, Limited Life, Short-Term Disability Refer a Friend Bonus | Other Financial Incentives (Bonuses) Weekly Pay | Direct Deposit |
