Responsibilities Perform thorough inspections of residential properties, including structural components, roofing, plumbing, electrical systems, HVAC units, and foundations. Collect detailed data during inspections using standardized checklists and digital tools to ensure accuracy and completeness. Identify issues related to construction quality control and quality inspection, providing clear documentation of findings. Analyze inspection results to determine the severity of defects or deficiencies and recommend appropriate corrective actions. Communicate inspection outcomes effectively to clients through detailed reports and verbal explanations. Collaborate with construction management teams, contractors, and clients to ensure adherence to project specifications and contractual obligations. Requirements Proven experience in construction inspection or related fields such as construction site management or quality control. Strong analysis skills with the ability to interpret blueprints, schematics, and technical documents accurately. Knowledge of construction processes, building codes, safety standards, and quality assurance practices. Hands-on experience working on construction sites or in pipeline projects is highly desirable. Excellent data collection skills with attention to detail for precise reporting. Ability to perform construction inspections efficiently while maintaining high standards of accuracy. Relevant certifications as a Certified Home Inspector or equivalent credentials are required; ongoing professional development is encouraged.
