The ideal candidate will have experience performing special inspections and materials testing on commercial, residential, and infrastructure projects while ensuring compliance with applicable building codes, project specifications, and industry standards. Responsibilities Perform special inspections in accordance with ICC certifications, project specifications, and applicable building codes. Conduct field inspections of concrete, masonry, structural steel, bolting, welding, fireproofing, and soils as required. Document inspection findings and prepare accurate, detailed reports. Communicate effectively with contractors, project managers, engineers, and building officials. Ensure all inspections are completed safely and professionally. Maintain required certifications and stay current with industry standards. Coordinate schedules and inspections to meet project deadlines. Qualifications Current ICC Special Inspector certifications preferred. Additional certifications such as

ACI, NICET, AWS

CWI, or WAQTC are a plus. Knowledge of International Building Code (IBC) requirements and construction practices. Ability to read and interpret construction plans, specifications, and engineering reports. Strong written and verbal communication skills. Valid driver's license and clean driving record.
