Monday-Friday Job Summary Our client is hiring a Construction Inspector to support commercial construction projects throughout the Tacoma, Seattle, and Bellevue areas. This is a fully onsite role responsible for field inspections, testing, and documentation to ensure work meets project specifications, codes, and quality standards. Responsibilities Perform daily construction inspections, testing, and observations per project requirements Inspect structural steel, concrete, masonry, fireproofing, and related construction work Conduct visual inspections and field testing of materials Read and interpret construction drawings and specifications Prepare clear inspection reports and document findings and nonconformance issues Communicate results to the Project Manager and project teams Coordinate inspection activities and support project scheduling needs Maintain inspection and testing equipment Follow all site safety rules and report safety concerns Support senior inspectors on larger or complex projects Qualifications Minimum 2 years of experience inspecting structural steel bolting and welding Experience with commercial construction inspection (concrete and civil) ACI Certification - Required WABO Certification - Required Ability to read and interpret construction drawings and specs Strong documentation and reporting skills Valid driver's license Preferred Multiple WABO certifications (3+ ideal) Experience with proprietary anchors, reinforced concrete, post‑tensioning, firestopping, or structural wood Why This Role Commercial construction focus Projects primarily within Tacoma, Seattle, and Bellevue Employer supports continued certifications and career growth Strong project pipeline and long‑term stability Job Type & Location This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Lynnwood, WA. Pay and Benefits The pay range for this position is $32.00 - $42.00/hr. Eligibility requirements apply to some benefits and may depend on your job classification and length of employment.
