SOCOTEC is proud to announce that it has been officially certified as a Great Place to Work by the renowned global authority on workplace culture, Great Place to Work®.Job DescriptionQuality Assurance/Control InspectionsMaterial Testing (WABO Certification Required)Review approved construction drawings and specificationsCommunicate with contractor workers, foremen, superintendents, project managers, building inspectors and report findingsWrite concise inspection reports using specific language pertaining to contract documents, approved drawings, and any applicable codeCommunicate with AAR office to report inspection observations, scheduling and sample pick up coordinationSupervise and train junior inspectors and testing techniciansPerform observations and inspections mainly related to Concrete/Steel/CivilInspection and verification of materials for compliance to the plans and specificationsEnsure work is performed in accordance with the Contract, Specifications, and RFC plansAccurately complete quality records relating to material testing, hold-point inspections, and material receivingInitiate non-conformance processes when materials, products, tools, equipment or Work do not meet the required specificationsReview of contract documentsStudy project specifications to determine appropriate construction methods and proceduresEnsure that contractors comply with specificationsThe ability to obtain certifications to perform in-field material testingOther duties as assigned by the managerQualifications(Preferred but not limited to) Previous experience in a project quality role(Preferred but not limited to) Bachelor's degree in a technical field, or Three (3) years' relevant work experience plus a technical or Associate's degree, or five (5) years of relevant inspection experienceWABO certificationExcellent verbal and written communication skillsProficiency in MS Office applications (Word, Excel, Outlook)Valid driver's licenseEnergetic, detail-oriented, and able to prioritize and manage a multi-task workload

Additional InformationSalary Range:
