Job Description Summary This posting is open to all qualified candidates. This position provides an opportunity for an individual with expertise and required qualifications in the construction field to apply, grow and demonstrate their leadership and skill level in this role that is critical to Wastewater Treatment Division's (WTD) construction project oversight effort. Inspection of the civil/structural and related mechanical components of construction projects, including standalone contracts at WTD Treatment Plants (primarily the South Treatment Plant), various WTD offsite facilities, and other WTD facilities throughout the County as needed. Ensure compliance with the Contract documents and code for the repair and/or installation of various components of WTD's including pipelines, earthwork, shoring, concrete (foundations, above and below grade structures, etc.), paving, structural steel, and other work involving the civil/structural trades.
