Job Description

It is an offer for employment, NOT a 1099 position. An active home inspector license is required. The qualified candidate for this position
MUST:
Ø Pass the WDO Pest state exam within 60 days of hire date Ø Be able to work up to 4 weekdays and either Saturday or Sunday ex: Tues thru Sat or Sun thru Thurs Ø Pass a background check Ø Valid Washington's DL & Good driving record Ø Commute throughout the South Sound corridor The ideal candidate will also possess some or all of the following: Ø Strong attention to detail Ø Strong verbal communication skills Ø Exceptional time management skills Ø Well-developed empathy for working with stressed clients Ø Ability to actively listen and remain calm under pressure in stressful situations Ø Concern about doing things the "right way" Ø Teachable/coachable Ø Solid knowledge of computers Ø Home inspection experience a plus Ø Speak a second language a plus Ø Closely related experience/education Ø Punctuality is essential Ø Ability to work unsupervised 90% The job is physically demanding and requires a lot of physical activity including: Ø Carrying and the use of ladders Ø Walking on roofs (heights) Ø Wearing a tool belt Ø Entering confined spaces such as crawling under houses and entering attics Ø Long periods of standing, driving, and typing Ø Repeated kneeling, squatting, bending, climbing stairs, climbing ladders, etc. Ø Lifting items above your head including attic access covers Ø Candidate must be able to lift 50 Lbs Ø Entering homes with allergens including pets, dust, mold, etc. Ø Candidate must weigh less than 250 Lbs. as this is the max weight of our ladders Ø Must fit in small crawlspaces We provide: Ø Paid Training Ø Starting Pay DOE including bonuses Ø Monthly pay Ø Simple Plan Match of 3% Ø Vacation Ø Major tools/equipment provided Ø Company vehicle, insurance and maintenance Ø E&O Insurance Ø On-going training Ø
