In this vital role, you will operate various types of cranes and heavy equipment to lift, move, and position materials safely and efficiently across construction sites. Your expertise will ensure projects progress smoothly, adhering to safety standards and project timelines. This position offers an exciting opportunity to contribute to large-scale construction endeavors while honing your technical skills in a fast-paced environment. Responsibilities Operate cranes such as boom trucks, with precision to lift and move heavy materials on construction sites. Perform rigging duties, ensuring loads are securely attached and balanced before lifting. Handle materials using forklifts, backhoes, excavators, and other heavy equipment to facilitate site operations. Conduct pre-operation inspections of cranes and equipment to identify potential issues and ensure safety compliance. Coordinate with ground personnel for safe load positioning and movement, maintaining clear communication throughout operations. Assist with shipping and receiving activities by loading and unloading materials safely in warehouse or site areas. Maintain detailed records of equipment usage, inspections, and maintenance needs to support operational efficiency. Requirements Proven experience operating cranes. Mechanical knowledge to troubleshoot minor issues with cranes and related equipment. Valid commercial driver's license with experience in commercial driving truck and trailer. Strong rigging skills with the ability to secure loads properly for safe lifting operations. Hands-on experience with materials handling, boom truck. Construction site experience demonstrating familiarity with safety protocols and project workflows. Ability to perform physical tasks including lifting heavy loads .
