Job Summary We are seeking a motivated and skilled Crane Operator to join our dynamic construction team. In this vital role, you will operate various types of cranes and heavy equipment to safely and efficiently move materials, assist in construction projects, and support site operations. Your expertise will ensure that projects progress smoothly while maintaining the highest safety standards. This position offers an exciting opportunity to work on diverse construction sites, utilizing your mechanical knowledge and heavy equipment operation skills to make a tangible impact. Duties Operate cranes, boom trucks, forklifts, backhoes, excavators, and other heavy machinery with precision and safety. Load, unload, and transport materials across construction sites or warehouse facilities. Rigging materials securely for lifting operations, ensuring compliance with safety protocols. Assist with shipping and receiving activities by managing inbound and outbound materials. Conduct routine inspections of equipment before use to identify maintenance needs or safety hazards. Coordinate with team members to plan lifting sequences and optimize workflow on-site. Maintain detailed logs of operations, inspections, and safety checks to ensure regulatory compliance. Skills Strong mechanical knowledge of heavy equipment operation and maintenance procedures. Valid commercial driver's license (CDL) with experience in operating trucks such as boom trucks or flatbeds. Proficiency in rigging techniques for safe lifting and material handling. Experience handling materials in construction or warehouse environments. Familiarity with construction site safety standards and protocols. Ability to operate backhoes, excavators, forklifts, and other related machinery confidently. Hands-on experience in shipping & receiving processes within construction or industrial settings.
