In this vital role, you will operate large overhead cranes to efficiently move heavy materials and equipment across construction sites, warehouses, and shipping yards. Your expertise will ensure safe, precise, and timely handling of materials, supporting the seamless progress of construction projects and logistics operations. This position offers an exciting opportunity to contribute to large-scale projects while adhering to strict safety standards and operational protocols.
Key Responsibilities:
Operate the shoreside gantry (STS & Ships Gear)- container spreader crane. Support vessel and terminal inspections as assigned. Operate container handling forklifts and top loaders. Perform lashing crew duties when not operating the crane. Assist with various operational roles throughout the terminal based on operational needs. Perform physical and manual labor tasks as directed by terminal management. Provide operational coverage during periods of absenteeism, vacation, and increased workload. Work flexible hours assigned daily based on vessel operations. Qualification(s): Two (2) years of experience as a qualified crane operator. Education & Credentials Transportation Worker Identification Credential (TWIC) badge Valid Driver's License (Florida)
Crane Certification Pay:
$30.00 per hour
