A little about the position:
Job Summary The Crane Operator is responsible for safely and efficiently moving fiberglass pools throughout the production, staging, and shipping processes. This position plays a key role in ensuring product flow, schedule adherence, and safe handling of materials. As a designated safety-sensitive role, the Crane Operator is subject to random drug testing. The employee may also support shipping and receiving activities as needed.
Some of What You Will Do:
Receive on-the-job training from a Certified Crane Operator and achieve certification within the required timeframe. Operate cranes safely and in compliance with OSHA, company, and industry regulations. Supervise and coordinate loading personnel to ensure safe and efficient operations. Follow and maintain delivery and production schedules to support workflow continuity. Maintain continuous movement of production molds and materials as needed. Use outriggers and other crane safety mechanisms appropriately based on load and environment. Review order forms and sign off on QA inspection documents prior to shipment. Verify that all required accessories and materials are included with each load. Communicate safety concerns, equipment issues, or workflow delays promptly to leadership. Perform routine inspections of crane equipment and report maintenance needs. Assist with shipping and receiving activities, including unloading vendor deliveries. Perform other duties as assigned. What You Bring to the
Table:
(Qualifications): High School Diploma or equivalent preferred. One year of experience maintaining and tracking inventory preferred. Certified Crane Operator certification preferred; must obtain company certification within company-established timeframe. Forklift experience preferred. Ability to read and follow written work instructions, order forms, and safety guidelines. Strong situational awareness and commitment to safe work practices. Ability to communicate effectively with team members and supervisors. Able and willing to meet the physical demands of the position. The physical demands required and work environment include: Physical requirements include prolonged standing, frequent bending, reaching, stooping, overhead work, and the ability to lift up to forty (40) pounds. Must have the visual and auditory ability to identify safety hazards, signals, and operating indicators. Must wear personal protective equipment (PPE) which may include safety glasses with side shields, hearing protection, hard hat, gloves, protective outerwear, and safety shoes. Environmental exposure may include dust, fumes, odors, heat or cold, weather conditions, and sustained noise levels typical of industrial environments. Why should you come work with Us?
