Crane Operator

• Atlanta, USA We are in search of a skilled and experienced Crane Operator to join our team in Atlanta, USA.

As a Crane Operator, you will be responsible for operating and maintaining various types of cranes to lift, move, and position heavy loads such as construction materials and equipment.

Key Responsibilities:

• Operate cranes to lift, move, and position heavy loads according to instructions from supervisors or signalers
• Inspect cranes before use to ensure they are in proper working condition
• Secure loads using chains, cables, or other equipment to prevent them from shifting during transportation
• Monitor the functioning of all crane controls and mechanisms during operation
• Communicate with ground crew using hand signals or two-way radios
• Maintain accurate records of daily operations including the materials lifted and the time spent on each job
• Follow all safety procedures and regulations to ensure a safe work environment for yourself and others

Requirements:

• High school diploma or equivalent; technical training or certification in crane operation is preferred
• Minimum of 2 years experience operating different types of cranes (e.g. mobile, tower, overhead)
• Proficient in reading and interpreting blueprints, schematics, and diagrams related to crane operation
• Excellent hand-eye coordination and depth perception
• Good physical stamina and ability to work at heights for extended periods of time
• Strong communication skills and ability to follow instructions accurately

Salary:

This position offers a competitive salary of $900 per week based on experience.
