Crane Operator - 2nd
Shift Frederick, MD Shift:
12:00 PM - 9:00 PM We're seeking a dependable and safety-focused Crane Operator to join a fast-paced warehouse team. This position is ideal for candidates with experience operating cranes or heavy equipment who are committed to maintaining quality, safety, and efficiency in a warehouse or manufacturing environment. Responsibilities Operate, monitor, and maintain a high-rise crane system safely and efficiently. Work at heights of up to 40 feet while using required fall protection equipment. Move and track products using a computerized inventory management system. Complete inventory transactions and maintain accurate documentation. Perform routine inventory counts and quality checks. Troubleshoot basic equipment issues and report concerns to management. Maintain communication with supervisors and team members to support efficient operations. Perform cleaning and sanitation duties within the cooler warehouse. Follow all safety procedures, Good Manufacturing Practices (GMPs), and company policies. Report food safety or quality concerns immediately. Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment. Qualifications Crane operating experience is strongly preferred. Candidates with at least one year of heavy equipment operating experience are encouraged to apply. Previous warehouse, manufacturing, or distribution experience is preferred. Comfortable working at heights up to 40 feet and in a cooler environment. Ability to work overtime, including 10- and 12-hour shifts, as needed. Strong attention to detail and commitment to safety. Basic computer skills for inventory tracking and documentation. Reliable transportation and excellent attendance.
Pay:
$22.00 - $25.00 per hour
