Full-Time Position Overview We are currently seeking an experienced Crane Operator to operate a boom truck / mobile hydraulic crane in the Detroit/Hamtramck area. The ideal candidate will have prior hands-on experience operating boom trucks and mobile hydraulic cranes and be comfortable safely handling lifts and materials in a variety of jobsite environments. Pay & Schedule $30+/hour to start , based on experience and qualifications 1st shift Overtime available Full-time position Consistent work in the Detroit/Hamtramck area Requirements Prior crane operating experience is required Experience operating boom trucks and/or mobile hydraulic cranes Ability to safely operate crane equipment and perform lifts Strong understanding of proper rigging, load handling, and jobsite safety Ability to inspect equipment and identify potential safety issues Must be dependable and have a strong work ethic Ability to follow directions and communicate effectively with ground personnel Must be able to work safely in a team environment Valid driver's license required Applicable crane/operator certifications or credentials are a plus Responsibilities Safely operate boom truck and mobile hydraulic crane equipment Perform lifting and material-handling operations according to jobsite requirements Inspect crane and related equipment before operation Properly position and set up equipment for safe lifting Follow load charts, operating procedures, and safety requirements Work with riggers, laborers, and other crew members to safely complete lifts Maintain awareness of jobsite conditions and potential hazards Perform routine equipment checks and report maintenance or safety concerns Follow all applicable OSHA, DOT, and company safety requirements Maintain a clean and organized work area Ideal Candidate We are looking for an experienced, safety-focused crane operator who takes pride in their work and can confidently operate a boom truck/mobile hydraulic crane.
