Job Description

Our Crane Operators work for a company that puts employees first and offers great benefits. As a Crane Operator at NABRICO Marine Products, you'll operate electrically-powered, diesel, or rubber tire cranes consisting of operator's cab and moveable hoist mechanism mounted on bridge to lift, move, and position loads, such as machinery, equipment, products, and solid or bulk material, using hoisting attachments. What you'll do: Operate a gantry crane or whirly crane Operate a cab operated overhead crane Operate a steel yard overhead crane Move and lift more than 20 tons May perform as rigger for gantry cranes Operate a mobile crane (move across yard) Responsible for daily inspection, assigned maintenance, and safe operation of assigned crane Ensure crane is properly secured (tied-off) at the end of each shift Support other departments and/or machine operators as needed Follow all safety rules and practices May be involved in safety committees or initiatives Perform other duties as assigned What you'll need: Minimum of 1 year of experience working as a Crane Operator Ability to move and lift more than 20 tons Work requires the ability to read and write in order to complete standard records Knowledge and experience in operating controls, rigging principles, hand signals, and safe lifting procedures Crane certification Must have the ability to operate crane and lift loads in a safe and non-hazardous manner to ensure the safety of operator and all other employees in the area Equal Opportunity Employer This employer is required to notify all applicants of their rights pursuant to federal employment laws.
