Job Description
Overview Join our dynamic team as a Mobile Crane Operator and become a vital part of our construction and materials handling operations. In this energetic role, you will operate heavy lifting equipment, including mobile cranes, to safely and efficiently move materials, machinery, and loads across various construction sites and industrial environments. Your expertise will ensure that projects progress smoothly while adhering to strict safety standards. Responsibilities Operate mobile cranes and other lifting equipment such as overhead cranes, boom trucks, forklifts, backhoes, and excavators to lift, move, and position heavy loads with precision. Follow load handling procedures in crane operations to ensure safe and secure lifting practices. Implement rigging techniques and load securing methods to stabilize loads during lifting activities. Conduct pre-operation inspections of cranes and related heavy equipment, ensuring all safety equipment is functional before use. Adhere strictly to construction workplace safety regulations and OSHA safety standards during all operations. Coordinate with team members on-site for efficient materials handling, shipping & receiving, and logistics management. Maintain detailed records of crane operation logs, safety checks, and incident reports to ensure compliance with safety protocols. Experience Proven experience operating mobile cranes in construction or industrial settings with a strong understanding of hydraulics and load handling procedures. Familiarity with overhead cranes, forklifts, boom trucks, excavators, backhoes, and other material handling equipment. Knowledge of construction site safety regulations and implementation of OSHA safety standards. Mechanical knowledge related to crane operation, hydraulics systems, and heavy equipment maintenance. Valid commercial driver's license with experience in commercial driving is preferred. Hands-on experience with shipping & receiving processes and warehouse operations is a plus.
