Crane Operator

Duties Operate cranes and other heavy machinery such as boom trucks, forklifts, backhoes, and excavators to lift, move, and position construction materials Conduct pre-operation inspections of cranes and equipment to ensure safety standards are met before each use Coordinate with site supervisors and team members to plan lifting sequences and ensure smooth workflow Rigging materials securely using proper techniques to prevent accidents or damage during lifts Handle materials efficiently within warehouses or construction zones, including shipping & receiving tasks Maintain detailed logs of equipment usage, inspections, and any maintenance needs Follow all safety protocols and regulations to promote a secure working environment for everyone on site Requirements Must be able to operate a 155 US Ton Liebherr all terrain crane Proven experience operating cranes and heavy machinery such as excavators, boom trucks, forklifts, or backhoes in construction or industrial settings Strong mechanical knowledge to troubleshoot basic issues with equipment and perform routine maintenance checks Valid commercial driver's license (CDL) preferred for operating certain vehicles on-site or between locations Skilled in rigging techniques and materials handling procedures for safe lifts and placements Knowledge of construction site safety standards and OSHA regulations Ability to work outdoors in varying weather conditions while maintaining focus on safety and precision

Pay:

$39.00 per hour
