Job Description

The Gloucester Marine Terminal is operated by Gloucester Terminals LLC and offers stevedoring and break bulk services. The terminal, located in the Port of Philadelphia has direct access to highways as well as three rail lines that transit across the United States and Canada, providing unrivaled turnaround times for our partners. Gloucester Terminals serves as a crucial part of the East Coast supply chain, helping to feed families in NJ, PA, DE and the rest of the country. Come and join the GLT team! As a member of our team, you will be responsible for handling customer products in a safe and efficient manner, performing essential job functions. Among these job functions are operating various types of industrial equipment. No previous experience necessary we train all team members once hired! If you enjoy trying new things, this is the job for you. Learn how to operate forklifts, jockey trucks, top picks, reach stackers, or cranes. Openings are union positions.
Minimum Requirements:
•Possess a Transportation Worker Identification Credential (TWIC)•Be at least 18 years of age Be able to work a fluctuating, non-traditional schedule (Gloucester Terminals is a 24/7 operation) Ability to lift 50+ pounds Ability to pass Drug and Alcohol screen, as well as adhere to Drug and Alcohol Policy once hired Capable of working in various weather conditions Have reliable transportation Have a strong work ethic and the ability to follow instructions within a team environment Preferred Certifications (not required): Forklift Commercial Driver's License (CDL) Crane Reach stacker / Top pick
