Job Description

Overview Join our team as a CDL Driver & Boom Truck Crane Operator, where you will play a vital role in ensuring the safe and efficient movement of materials across our construction sites. This position combines skilled commercial driving with expert crane operation, requiring a proactive approach to safety, precision handling, and equipment management. You will be responsible for transporting materials, operating our boom truck cranes and lifting equipment, and adhering to all safety regulations to support our construction and logistics operations. Responsibilities Safely operate commercial trucks for transporting materials to and from construction sites, warehouses, and shipping/receiving areas. Skillfully operate cranes and forklifts to load and unload materials. Follow load handling procedures in crane operations, ensuring proper rigging, load securing methods, and adherence to safety protocols. Conduct pre-operation inspections of cranes and heavy equipment to ensure optimal functioning and compliance with safety standards. Implement OSHA safety standards and construction workplace safety regulations during all operations to prevent accidents and injuries. Handle materials efficiently by executing proper rigging techniques, material handling procedures, and using appropriate safety equipment. Maintain accurate logs of transportation activities, crane operations, inspections, and incident reports as required for compliance and safety audits. Requirements Valid Class A Commercial Driver's License (CDL) with clean driving record; experience with oversize preferred. Proven experience operating cranes such as overhead cranes, boom trucks, excavators, or hydraulic lifting devices in construction or warehouse settings. Mechanical knowledge of hydraulics, lifting equipment, and material handling machinery. Demonstrated understanding of load securing rigging methods and rigging procedures for safe lifting operations. Knowledge of construction site safety regulations including OSHA standards; commitment to safety protocol adherence at all times. Hands-on experience with heavy equipment operation including backhoes, excavators, forklifts, and warehouse material handling tools. Strong awareness of construction workplace safety practices combined with excellent attention to detail during inspections and operational tasks. Ability to work in physically demanding environments while maintaining focus on safety and efficiency. We are a framing contractor based out of Donald Oregon. Job will require commuting throughout the Willamette Valley to our multiple sites. Pay is dependent on experience. Prefer candidates with crane experience but not opposed to training the right candidate. Look forward to hearing from you!
