Job Description:
Job Summary Operates crane in a safe manner according to safety guidelines and regulations. Conducts daily crane maintenance inspection each day at the start of the shift. Retrieves material from storage to load onto processing equipment, trucks, or rail cars. Unloads inbound material from trucks and rail cars. Moves heavy materials for warehouseman and parts cleaners. Physical Requirements Stand or Sit(Stationary position), Walk(Move, Traverse), Use hand/fingers to handle or feel (Operate, Activate, Use, Prepare, Inspect, Place, Detect, Position), Climb (stairs/ladders) or balance (Ascend/Descend, Work atop, Traverse), Stoop, kneel, crouch, or Crawl(Position self(to), Move), Talk/hear(Communicate, Detect, Converse with, Discern, Convey, Express oneself, Exchange information), See (Detect, Determine, Perceive, Identify, Recognize, Judge, Observe, Inspect, Estimate, Assess), Pushing or Pulling, Reaching, Repetitive Motion Function in the Job Medium/Heavy work - Exerting up to 50 pounds of force occasionally, and/or up to 50 pounds of force frequently, and/or up to 20 pounds of force constantly to move objects. Job Function Maintains housekeeping. Monitors work area. Demonstrates ability and accepts responsibility to perform other duties assigned by the foreman as necessary to complete the shift. Required Skills 100% Standing 80% Walking in warehouse 5% Climbing approximately 35-40 steps up to and down from crane Operators and operator trainees shall meet the following physical qualifications: Have vision of at least 20/30 Snellen in one eye, and 20/50 Snellen in the other, with or without corrective lenses;
