COMPENSATION
- Starting at: $ 25 Eco-Pan is hiring a CDL Crane and Roll-Off Driver for its Nashville Branch. This position operates a commercial truck, crane, and roll-off or hook-lift equipment to deliver, place, service, and remove concrete washout pans at customer job sites. The role also performs equipment inspections, light maintenance, documentation, and manual work involving concrete and water. Safety is paramount. This position requires professional customer service, independent decision-making, and flexibility for irregular hours, long shifts, overtime, travel, weekends, holidays, and last-minute schedule changes. Key Responsibilities
  • Drive and operate the truck and crane safely, conscientiously, and lawfully in compliance with Company policies and applicable requirements.
  • Deliver, place, service, and remove concrete washout pans at job sites; set up the system and clean pans after service.
  • Complete pre-trip, post-trip, truck, crane, and load-securement inspections before operating equipment.
  • Confirm annual crane inspection status; know truck and crane height, weight, and loading capacities; maintain safe clearances from people, vehicles, structures, scaffolding, and other obstructions.
  • Report unsafe job-site conditions, incidents, accidents, injuries, equipment damage, and mechanical concerns immediately.
  • Process concrete and water safely according to Company policies and guidelines.
  • Perform authorized light repairs and routine operator maintenance; keep trucks, cranes, pans, the yard, and related equipment clean and orderly.
  • Complete accurate timecards, work orders, serial-number tracking, inspection and maintenance forms, repair sheets, logbooks, permits, expense reports, and receipts.
  • Ensure loads are properly positioned, secured, and strapped before travel.
  • Maintain professional and courteous customer relationships and represent the Company through dependable service and appearance. Qualifications & Skills
  • Valid CDL Class A or B with air-brake endorsement.
  • Current DOT medical card and a clean driving record that meets Company requirements.
  • Straight-truck driving experience.
  • Working knowledge of basic truck mechanics and the ability to identify and troubleshoot minor mechanical problems.
  • Ability to read and understand equipment manuals, safety manuals, work orders, warning labels, and required documentation.
  • Professional communication and customer-service skills, including experience working with customers and suppliers.
  • Knuckle-boom crane, hook-lift, or roll-off experience is preferred; training may be provided.
  • High school diploma or equivalent. Physical Demands and Work Conditions
  • Meet applicable DOT hearing and vision requirements and communicate verbally with others.
  • Lift up to 75 pounds to an overhead position and push or pull up to 50 pounds.
  • Climb on and around the truck, walk on uneven terrain, cleated walkways, and wire mesh, and stand or sit for extended periods.
  • Perform manual work outdoors in heat, cold, wind, and precipitation. Schedule and Environment
  • Work may include irregular schedules, long shifts, overtime, weekends, holidays, last-minute changes, and travel to various job sites.
  • This position does not supervise other employees.
