In this role, you will be responsible for operating telescopic cranes to lift, move, and position materials safely and efficiently across various construction sites. Your expertise in heavy equipment operation, rigging, and materials handling will be crucial in supporting project timelines and ensuring safety standards are met. This position offers an exciting opportunity to work on diverse projects while honing your skills in crane operation and construction logistics. Responsibilities Operate cranes with precision to lift, move, and position construction materials, equipment, and supplies on-site Conduct thorough pre-operation inspections of the crane to ensure all safety features are functional and equipment is in optimal condition Coordinate with site supervisors, riggers, and other team members to plan lifting operations and execute tasks smoothly Rig loads properly using appropriate rigging techniques, ensuring secure attachment for safe lifting Adhere to all safety protocols, including load limits, signaling procedures, and site-specific safety guidelines Maintain detailed logs of crane operation activities, inspections, and any incidents or anomalies during shifts Assist with other heavy equipment operations such as backhoe, excavator, forklift, boom truck, or warehouse tasks as needed Requirements Proven experience operating cranes in a construction or industrial environment Strong mechanical knowledge of crane systems and heavy equipment operation Valid commercial driver's license (CDL) with appropriate endorsements for crane transport if applicable Skilled in rigging techniques and materials handling procedures Experience working on construction sites with knowledge of safety standards and protocols Ability to operate related machinery such as backhoes, excavators, forklifts, and boom trucks effectively Familiarity with shipping & receiving processes and warehouse operations is a plus Excellent communication skills to coordinate with team members and ensure safety compliance Join our team to be part of a vibrant work environment where your skills make a tangible impact!
