Job Description
Crane Operator MWH Constructors paid time off, paid holidays, 401(k) United States, Texas, Austin Jul 07, 2026 MWH Constructors, a global leader in heavy civil construction of water and wastewater facilities, is currently seeking a Crane Operator to support a critical wastewater treatment plant construction project in Austin, Texas. Essential Functions Operate the crane under general supervision.
Manipulate or depress crane controls to regulate the speed and direction of crane and hoist movement according to written, verbal, or signal instructions.
Perform minor repairs as needed.
Inspect the crane for safety issues on a daily basis.
Determine if any parts are malfunctioning.
Complete job tickets, service quality summaries, and all other necessary paperwork.
Lift, position, and place machinery, equipment, or other large objects at construction sites and industrial facilities.
Determine load weights and check them against lifting capacities in order to prevent overload.
Participate in work planning.
Participate in critical lift planning.
Inspect cables, hooks, and blocks for wear and install or replace as needed.
Work within precise limits and standards of accuracy.
Operate the crane according to signals from the helper.
Follow directions carefully. Basic Qualifications High School Diploma or GED equivalent. Documentation must be provided at the time of application.
Must be at least 18 years of age.
Must have a valid driver's license.
1-3 years' experience in operating large cranes of 250 tons (4000w), Friction and Hydraulic.
