We are seeking a practical, safety-focused Crane & Construction Equipment Operator Trainer / Training Center Manager to oversee daily training center activities, deliver hands-on equipment training, and help maintain a professional, organized training environment. This position is ideal for an experienced equipment operator who can teach others, coordinate equipment and training activities, and take responsibility for the day-to-day operation of our Houston training facility. Key Responsibilities Equipment Training

• Deliver hands-on training and demonstrations in crane operations and construction equipment operation.
• Train students in safe operating practices, equipment inspections, and pre-operation checks.
• Support practical instruction using available equipment, including cranes, backhoes, excavators, skid steers, forklifts, telehandlers, scissor lifts, and boom lifts.
• Explain equipment controls, operating procedures, jobsite hazards, and safe work practices.
• Monitor student performance and provide practical feedback. Training Center Management Coordinate daily training schedules, equipment availability, and student activities. Maintain an organized, clean, and professional training facility and equipment yard. Required Qualifications
• Demonstrated experience operating cranes and/or construction equipment.
• Practical ability to explain equipment operating procedures and safety requirements to trainees.
• Strong safety awareness and the ability to supervise students during hands-on training.
• Good communication, organizational, and basic recordkeeping skills.
• Ability to manage daily activities and work independently in a hands-on environment.
• Reliable, professional, and comfortable working outdoors and around heavy equipment.

Preferred:

At least 2 years of equipment operating experience, previous operator training or mentoring experience, and relevant crane or equipment operator certifications.
