Job Summary:
In this role, you will provide in office, on-site support and technical consultation to understand daily equipment challenges. You will perform audits, assist with training, perform inspection on equipment, perform utilization studies, create crane planning process and procedures, write technical documents and bulletins, and visit manufactures, Your advice will help solve challenges to ensure that equipment quality, quantity, and safety requirements can be met. #LI-TH1
Major Responsibilities:
Works on small and large projects with responsibilities including monitoring crane work activities, analyzing and reviewing workforce, material, and equipment supply requirements, and organizing the area discipline work plan requirements with others as designated by supervising superintendent. Roles within this group are PEMS administrator, equipment shop administrator, crane and rigging manager and equipment manager. Crane operator examiner, Assembly/disassembly crane director. Crane incident investigation. Create pile driving crane work policy and procedures. Planning On projects, monitors crane availability and utilization. Monitor crane inspection including daily, monthly, quarterly and annual. Prepare reports and forecasts, as required for the BEO crane program. Prepare tower crane schedules including assembly, disassembly and jumps. Assists superintendents with the sourcing, deployment, and material and equipment requirements in support of project. Create a central library for all crane documentations including bulletins, updates, load charts, special attachments. Safety and Quality Monitors and ensures that the quality of work performed meets requirements. Implements and enforces policies, procedures and related work rules as established by BEO management. Ensures Zero Accident Philosophy and requirements are implemented and adhered to by craft and others when in the operational area, and tools and equipment are in safe condition and in safe operational order.
Education and Experience Requirements:
Requires bachelor's degree (or international equivalent) and 8-10 years of relevant experience or 12-14 years of relevant work experience
Required Knowledge and Skills:
OSHA/ASME
crane regulation knowledge Licensed crane Assembly/Disassembly Director from an accredited agency Knowledge of writing Bechtel bulletins, policy and procedures Knowledge of PEMS and Teams Bechtel CAD certified. Daily, monthly, quarterly, annual crane inspection requirements. Crane PM services and required maintenance.
