POSITION
  • Crane Operator Company
  • Service First Staffing of Green Bay is helping local company hire for a Crane Operator position.
The Equipment Operator is responsible for learning all aspects of the material handler (excavator) operation, end loader and other equipment to move material throughout the yard.

  • $24•$28/hr.
REQUIRED EDUCATION
  • High School or comparable work experience
REQUIRED EXPERIENCE
  • Requires diploma or GED and/or three to five years related experience; or a combination of education and experience. Average mechanical aptitude. Prior Experience operating equipment including but not limited to
  • forklift, tractor, skid steer, and/or video games. History of reliable attendance. Must have hydraulic crane experience, mag or grapple
  • 2 years.
Responsibilities:
Perform equipment safety check according to checklist. Check all equipment fluid for proper levels and back-up alarm for proper operating condition. Add fluid as needed. Perform lubrication and other daily service activities according to procedures. Start equipment and check gauges for proper operating status. Operate Heavy Equipment to load/ unload trucks and feed scrap processing equipment, according to company and safety procedures. Follow shut down procedures at end of shift according to daily checklist. Complete and maintain all required paperwork, records, documentation, etc
Qualifications:
Education of the scrap industry and workplace environment Company and departmental policies and procedures Knowledge of scrap, both ferrous and/ or nonferrous Maintenance and operation of cranes
