Full Job Description Job Description:

Massive Services LLC is seeking an experienced Directional Driller (HDD Operator) to join our growing team. This position is responsible for operating horizontal directional drilling equipment to install underground utilities including fiber, electric, water, and gas lines. We are looking for individuals who take pride in their work, operate safely, and can perform efficiently in a fast-paced construction environment.

Key Responsibilities:

Operate horizontal directional drill rigs (Vermeer, Ditch Witch, etc.) Read and understand bore plans, utility locates, and job specifications Perform daily equipment inspections and basic maintenance Work closely with locator and crew to complete bores safely and accurately Maintain proper drilling fluid levels and mixing Ensure all work is completed in compliance with safety standards and company procedures Complete daily reports and communicate job progress with supervisors

Qualifications:

2+ years of HDD drilling experience preferred Experience with utility installation (fiber, conduit, power, gas, water) Ability to read prints and follow bore profiles Strong understanding of underground utilities and safe digging practices Valid driver's license (CDL preferred) Ability to work long hours, travel, and perform physical labor as needed

Preferred Skills:

Experience with locating (Digitrak or similar systems) CDL Class A or B Mechanical knowledge of HDD equipment Experience in rock drilling or challenging ground conditions

Work Environment:

Outdoor construction sites in varying weather conditions Physically demanding role including lifting, bending, and standing for long periods
