Job Description

Position Summary We are seeking an experienced Driller to support commercial, industrial, environmental, geotechnical, and geothermal drilling projects throughout the Northeast United States. The Driller will be responsible for mobilizing drilling equipment, performing drilling operations, installing test wells, maintaining drill rigs, and ensuring safe and efficient project execution.

New Haven, CT | Rock Tavern, NY | Northeast United States Key Responsibilities Mobilize drilling equipment and support vehicles for projects throughout the Northeast. Perform air rotary, mud rotary, water well, geothermal, environmental, and geotechnical drilling operations. Install test wells, monitoring wells, and support site feasibility investigations. Operate drill rigs and associated support equipment safely and efficiently. Troubleshoot, inspect, maintain, and repair drilling equipment as needed. Lead daily drilling activities and ensure compliance with all company safety standards. Coordinate with project managers, engineers, and field personnel to meet project objectives. Maintain organized and secure job sites while promoting a culture of safety. Load, unload, haul, lift, and position drilling materials, tooling, casing, and equipment. Assist with equipment mobilization and demobilization activities. Complete required project documentation, equipment inspections, and daily reports. Work outdoors in varying weather and environmental conditions. Participate in training opportunities and support additional field operations as required. Qualifications Required High School Diploma or GED. Prior experience as a Driller operating drilling equipment. Minimum of 5 years of drilling and/or construction experience. Strong understanding of drilling methods, drilling safety practices, and drilling equipment operation. Knowledge of utility locate laws, OSHA regulations, compliance procedures, and quality standards. Ability to lift and move materials weighing 60-80 pounds. Ability to work outdoors in all weather conditions. Willingness to travel extensively and work away from home during the week. Strong mechanical aptitude and troubleshooting skills. Preferred Active Driller's License. Active
CDL. OSHA 30
Certification. SST Card. Flagger Certification. State Drilling License (NY, NJ, CT, and/or MA). NGWA Certification. Experience with geothermal heat pump systems. Experience with environmental, geotechnical, and water well drilling projects. Travel Requirements This Driller position requires extensive travel throughout the Northeast United States, including: Connecticut Massachusetts New York Maine Vermont New Hampshire New Jersey Maryland Travel is typically Monday through Friday with occasional Saturday work. Company-paid lodging is provided for overnight stays. Travel requirement is approximately 100%. Physical Requirements Frequent standing, walking, bending, kneeling, and climbing. Ability to regularly lift and carry 60-80 pounds. Ability to safely perform physically demanding work on active construction and drilling sites. Ability to work in all weather conditions and varying terrain. Position is classified as safety-sensitive. #CDIV101
Pay:
$40.00 - $62.00 per hour
