Full-Time Job Summary We are hiring a safety-focused Boring Laborer to support Horizontal Directional Drilling (HDD) operations on utility projects. This role will complete a variety of tasks including, but not limited to: operating a hydro excavation trailer, completing conduit tie-ins, setting hand holes, prepping conduit, and operating equipment. This is a hands-on role that also requires performing general construction labor tasks as needed to support the crew and jobsite. Key Responsibilities Operate vacuum trailer to perform hydro excavation (potholing) and daylight utilities Expose and verify underground utilities to prevent damage during drilling Read and follow utility locates, bore plans, and job specifications Assist with HDD jobsite setup and support boring operations Perform general labor tasks including digging, cleanup, and material handling Operate hand tools and power tools safely Maintain safe work zones and follow all safety requirements Communicate effectively with operators, supervisors, and crew members Qualifications 1-2 years of construction or utility experience Willingness to perform general construction labor Ability to pass background checks and required safety certifications Physically capable of demanding outdoor work in all weather conditions Reliable, safety-minded, and team-oriented What Puts You Ahead Hydro excavation experience HDD or underground utility work Mechanical skills Physical Requirements Ability to lift heavy materials and equipment Frequent bending, kneeling, climbing, and standing Work outdoors in all weather conditions
