Job Description

Geotechnical Driller Paducah, KY Bring your drilling experience to a stable, growing engineering firm where safety, teamwork, and doing the job right matter. In this role, you'll operate drilling equipment for geotechnical investigations, collect high-quality samples, and help keep field operations running smoothly—while supporting and guiding less experienced crew members. Responsibilities:
Operate and maintain drilling rigs and equipment for geotechnical test borings. Collect and document soil and rock samples for analysis. Assure that all drilling functions, including quality control, quality assurance, and verification, are performed in accordance with the standard drilling methods, project specifications, and other contract documents. Responsible for safety procedures and following company guidelines. Lead and coordinate in-house drilling operations, including crew supervision, scheduling, and daily field execution Support a positive team environment by modeling professionalism, accountability, and respectful communication.
Qualifications:
High school diploma or equivalent. 2-4 years of geotechnical drilling experience. Mechanical aptitude and familiarity with tools and heavy equipment. Valid Driver's License required (CDL preferred). Ability to work in physically demanding outdoor environments. Ability to travel and work flexible hours, including overtime as needed. Must be able to lift 80+ lbs and perform labor-intensive tasks.
