Job Description
Ideal candidates will have a minimum of 2 years of environmental project experience, and the demonstrated ability to perform the following daily functions: physical labor associated with drilling support and construction labor tasks. Because of our clients' requirements we cannot hire anyone with a felony conviction. Key Responsibilities/Essential Job Functions Engages in strenuous physical labor including lifting, pulling and pushing heavy objects including 55 gallon drums. Operates light and heavy equipment including, but not limited to: pumps, generators, skid steers, etc. Performs drilling support during soil sampling and monitoring well installation. Handles various hand tools and powered (pneumatic, electrical and hydraulic) industrial tools including pressure washers, jack hammers, etc. Works in various temperatures indoors and outdoors in all weather conditions (including extreme heat and cold) while wearing various levels of personal protective equipment Works in atmospheres and physical locations with the potential for exposure to various chemical and physical agents, some of which may be hazardous, toxic or corrosive. May be exposed to varying levels of physical activities and physical extremes such as long periods of standing, walking, crouching, use of hands, and heavy lifting of up to 50 pounds or more. Qualifications Requires High School Diploma or GED (or equivalent reading, writing and reasoning skills). A valid driver's license is required , real ID is preferred. Clean driving record. Must be able to comprehend and understand the English language to a level that all safety instructions and emergency situations are met. Successful completion of a pre-employment background and substance screening process including, but not limited to, employment verifications, criminal search and Motor Vehicle Record (MVR) search as well continued verifications throughout employment to ensure that all records meet company policy standards.
