Position Summary:
DRGeoES, LLC is seeking a dependable and skilled Geotechnical / Environmental Driller to join our growing team. We provide geotechnical, environmental, and construction drilling services across LA, TX, and AR. Ideal candidates will have solid drilling experience, strong mechanical aptitude, and the ability to work safely in various site conditions .
Key Responsibilities:
Operate and maintain auger-based drill rigs Perform routine maintenance and organization of drilling equipment and tools Record and maintain accurate Driller's Logs (training provided) Complete daily and weekly job and safety reports Follow Tailgate Safety Plans and site safety protocols Travel to local and regional job sites, including overnight stays as needed Communicate effectively with team members, clients, and project managers Maintain company vehicle logs and paperwork Work outdoors in all weather conditions
Minimum Qualifications:
High school diploma or equivalent Valid driver's license with a clean driving record (CDL not required) 2+ years of geotechnical drilling experience (preferred) Mechanical skills required; welding experience is a plus Must be safety-conscious and familiar with PPE usage Able to lift and carry up to 75 lbs., climb ladders, and navigate job sites Willingness to travel in-state and out-of-state
Work Schedule:
Standard hours: 7:00 AM - 5:00 PM, Monday through Friday 30-60 hours per week, with flexible hours based on project needs Potential for weekend, early morning, or night work
Compensation & Benefits:
Pay:
$16.00-$20.00 per hour, based on experience
