CDL Driver / Heavy Equipment Operator (Bilingual Spanish Required) -
Drilling Operations Pay:
$35.00 - $40.00 per hour
Location:
Maryland, Washington DC, and Northern Virginia Allied Well Drilling & Geothermal is seeking an experienced, bilingual (English/Spanish) CDL Driver with heavy equipment experience to support residential drilling operations throughout Maryland, Washington DC, and Virginia. This position is responsible for safely transporting drilling rigs, equipment, materials, and support vehicles to and from job sites while serving as an effective communicator between field personnel, supervisors, and crews. The ideal candidate will have experience operating and transporting top-heavy equipment such as drilling rigs, cranes, boom trucks, excavators, lowboy trailers, or other large construction equipment.
Responsibilities:
Safely operate CDL vehicles to transport drilling rigs, heavy equipment, and materials to project sites. Assist with mobilization and demobilization of drilling equipment. Perform daily vehicle and equipment inspections. Ensure compliance with DOT regulations and company safety standards. Secure and transport oversized and top-heavy loads safely. Assist field crews with equipment setup and general site operations when needed. Communicate effectively with both English and Spanish-speaking employees and subcontractors. Maintain accurate driver logs, inspection reports, and related documentation. Coordinate with dispatch, project managers, and field personnel to ensure timely deliveries and equipment movement. Perform basic preventative maintenance inspections and report equipment issues promptly.
Qualifications:
Bilingual in English and Spanish (Required). Valid Class A or Class B CDL with acceptable driving record. Minimum 2 years of CDL driving experience. Experience transporting or operating heavy equipment required. Experience with drilling rigs, cranes, boom trucks, excavators, lowboys, forklifts, or similar construction equipment strongly preferred. Ability to safely maneuver oversized and top-heavy equipment. Current DOT Medical Card or ability to obtain one. Ability to work overtime and Saturdays as required. Must be at least 21 years of age. Authorized to work in the United States.
Compensation & Benefits:

Monday through Friday. Overtime available. Weekend work as needed.

On the road throughout Maryland, Washington DC, and Northern Virginia.
Pay:
$25.84 - $40.00 per hour
